| This is an individual contributor role with responsibility for project managing the Firmware/Software development of a number of concurrent programs. Responsibility includes developing project plans and schedules, managing project activity according to processes, and interfacing with internal customers to negotiate requirements, to establish overall work plans, and to communicate status on an ongoing basis. Project management includes coordination and driving of multi-site, multi-disciplinary activity, and close coordination with technical management to ensure optimal utilization of resources, tracking to established project budget, and ensuring on-time completion of program deliverables. This position requires BS/BA degree or equivalent with 6+ years of related experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
