The Role: Senior Embedded Programming/Design Engineer
The Location: Austin, TX

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join the product development team in the capacity of Senior Embedded Programming/Design Engineer. Responsibilities include definition, development, and implementation of equipment for verifying TrackingPoint products compliance to pre-defined criteria. The incumbent will integrate existing equipment and/or design new equipment for testing TrackingPoint products.
Required Skills & Experience:
œ B.S. in Engineering or Physics and at least 5 years of experience
œ Development or integration of bench equipment with software controls
œ Experience working within a specification control environment
œ Experience with embedded software development
œ Experience with circuit level design and fabrication of PCBfs
œ Understanding of electro-mechanical integration and design
œ Self-motivated, energetic and eager to see ideas implemented and validated
œ Good communications skills as a subject matter expert
œ Must be self-starter with commitment to excellence and elegance
œ Excellent understanding of basic physics and phenomena
Additional Valuable Background:
œ History integrating design components into PCB and developing associated software control
œ Experience with LabView, TestStand, or similar
œ Experience with Altium Designer
œ Experience with designing/producing industrial or commercial products
