Summary
Samsung Information Systems America in San Diego is recruiting RF Architects for our San Diego based Mobile Solutions Lab. Common Essential
Duties & Resp.
- Develop RF system architecture
- Test cellular RF reference designs
- Design and develop radio system integration tests
- Support applications engineering and customer designs
- Collaborate with digital design team to ensure optimal system performance
- Work closely with the RFIC design team as well as modem system team
Necessary Skills /
Attributes
- MS with 5+ years of relevant industry experience. PhD preferred
- Hands-on experience in RF Systems design
- Expertise in RF systems design, integration, testing, debugging, information theory for cell phones and radios
- Knowledge of 3GPP Base Station RF specifications
- Must possess good analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of GSM/WCDMA/HSPA/LTE standards
