Position: Oracle DBA
Responsibilities:
Ability to work on Projects for the entire life cycle and add value to the project by recommending Oracle features that will help the team in their deliverables. Knowledge of which features will work and which will not. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems that may arise in existing applications. Ability to perform database design, performance tuning, diagnose scalability and tuning reviews/assessments, and query monitoring. Extensive DBA experience with development test and production databases. Knowledge of Oracle version 10g and 11g on UNIX and RAC environments. Experience with large database systems running multiple Oracle instances. Implementation of databases and data schemas. Advanced Database tuning expertise. Problem determination and resolution. Assisting and guiding developers with any issues they may have. Must communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a DBA for a large enterprise.
