The Oracle OBIEE Developer works in Information Technology and interacts with the Business Teams regarding the implementation and support of Oracle OBIEE reporting solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Develops OBIEE reports leveraging Informatica, RPD and Answer
* Supports ongoing daily use of Oracle OBIEE environment
* Helps business users develop requirements for modifications and enhancements of reports and document requirements
* Modifies existing OBIEE reports based on user requirements
* Creates new OBIEE reports based on user requirements
* Coordinates with hosting vendors to resolve issues
* Oversees or helps to oversee consultants on projects
QUALIFICATIONS:

* The candidate should have full life cycle implementation experience in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition including Dimension modeling, Data Mapping, Data Conversion, and Data Cleansing.
* Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
* Proficient in developing, maintaining and supporting OBIEE Repositories to ensure accuracy and validity of physical, logical and presentation structures.
* Experience with modeling and building OBIEE repository layers
* Experience with migrating legacy and / or other BI tool reports to OBIEE
* Experience developing reports and dashboards in OBIEE using Answer
* Experienced in managing and maintaining all environments in a development life cycle for the OBIEE application. (Development, test, production)
* Experience in deployment / migration as well as back up of the OBIEE Repository and OBIEE Web Catalog between development lifecycle environments.
* Proficient in managing all user access security set up for OBIEE users between Oracle EBS responsibility groups, OBIEE security groups, OBIEE web catalog permissions and OBIEE Presentation Administration.
* Excellent understanding of relational database structures and developing SQL.
* Experience working in a hosted environment is a plus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* BS/BA in Computer Science or other related field; or equivalent work experience
* 7+ years experience in similar role. Financial services experience a plus.
