Payroll & Post Payroll:
Perform all responsibilities of Job Code 1772 at Stage 2 (see below)
Manage vendors, where applicable (Stage 1)
Participate in meetings involving more complex tax matters (acquisitions & divestitures) (Stage 1)
Ensure standardization of common processes among client teams (Stage 1)
Analyze and interpret legislative changes and the impact on the payroll domain (Stage 1)
Provides guidance to other team members
Job Code 1772 responsibilities:
Enter time and other pay data into payroll (Stage 1)
Process mass updates (Stage 1)
Manage receipt of and balancing of time files (Stage 1)
Perform post payroll validation proofs and balancing (Stage 1)
Fund payroll and validate ACH and positive pay files (Stage 1)
Balance and release post payroll interfaces and related payments to vendors, AP, etc. (Stage 1)
Process stop payments and reissues (Stage 1)
Monitor ACH returns and related reissue/reversal (Stage 1)
Process manual (off cycle) payments, reversals and adjustments (Stage 1)
Monitor and report on SR aging and escalated cases (Stage 1)
Manage incoming work queues in various tools (workflow, imaging, Siebel) (Stage 1)
Provide problem (SR) resolution support (Stage 1)
Maintain and update process documentation (Stage 1)
Identify, share, and support process improvements (Stage 1)
Understand process end to end and comprehend overall impact on pay (Stage 1)
Balance interfaces or review for reasonableness and resolve edit errors (Stage 1)
Qualifications
5 year work experience in payroll/HR process
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
CPP Desire
