In this position, the individual will be responsible for engineering, implementing, and supporting global voice/video network solutions which are scalable, supportable and cost effective. The individual will be focused on translating business requirements to technical solutions, creating solution design and delivering projects as well as assist in operating the solutions going forward. Lastly, the individual will contribute to the development and implementation of new architectures, services and technologies.
This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 7 or more years of related experience, an expert skill set in complete Cisco Voice and Unified Communication platforms including Call Manager, Call Manager Express, and Unity and experience developing and deploying Global dial plan. This position also requires experience with Cisco/Tandberg Video Solutions, general knowledge of network solutions such as MPLS, QOS, spanning tree, and routing protocols and experience in integrating and migrating traditional PBX environments with VoIP environments. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Also, the individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people and a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Finally, the candidate should possess the ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, multi-task and meet deadlines, as well as communicate well.
