SERVICES DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS ANALAYST AT CISCO

The Cisco Services Distribution Business Analyst will be responsible for working directly with key distributors and Cisco Sales team to identify Services 2-Tier opportunities with pilot Distributors leveraging data from Cisco programs and tools such as P4P, E-Consulting, Disti POS, DAP, DOT, etc. This position will work with the Distributor's & Cisco's business intelligence to provide business investment recommendations based on opportunity analysis and will support business decisions and plans by collaborating with BDMs.
The position requires collaborating with multiple stakeholders to analyze the historical trends and financial performance of the Distribution pilots. The position requires at minimum 8 years Business Analyst/Finance experience, including a strong distribution and services background, sales/field experience is a plus.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Gather and provide key business insights and create strategic recommendations based on the analysis
- Develop presentations that communicate the recommendations to the associated stakeholders
- Identify the best data sources, gather data and perform statistical analysis to drive sound business
decisions
- Work with reports provided by Cisco Services Bureau and Cisco Services Finance
- Make business recommendations based on the results of the data analysis
- Solve business critical problems by using proven problem solving methodologies
- Drive business and process improvement projects by collaborating within virtual cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with other functional areas to help drive key business initiatives
- Build and use communication plans to manage all the identified stakeholders and influencers
- Develop broad knowledge of the business and use sound judgment to make the right business decisions
- Be dependable and reliable in meeting target deliverables according to schedule and expectations
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 8 years Business Analyst/Finance experience, including a strong distribution and services background
- Sales/field experience is a plus
-Cisco product knowledge/Cisco experience preferred
- Business Analyst with an excellent track record in building strategic business plans for new and existing products, solutions and services for channel business
- Experienced in designing and implementing strategic business plans
- Detail-oriented, excellent quantitative and organization skills
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and database and analysis tools
- Ability to interact & communicate with multiple cultures
- Services experience (Knowledge of Cisco services and organization is an asset)
- Ability to communicate to all levels of management
- Results oriented, excellent business and communication skills
- Strong written and oral presentation skills
- Ability to project manage multiple large and complex projects with multiple distributors
- Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
- Ability to negotiate and influence actions of stakeholders
- Ability to resolve conflicts
- Ability to identify, prioritize and deliver tangible results using sound business practices
- Ability to innovate and identify industry leading best practices
Typically requires BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 8 years related experience. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
