University Relations Talent Partner

The University Relations Talent Partner is responsible for supporting the ongoing development, implementation, and administration of the company's University Relations program for the Division. This person will champion University Relations through building relationships with HR Business Partners, hiring managers and teams. The position works closely with the business and interacts with all levels of the organization both internally and externally. The University Relations Talent Business Partner will support strategy to better position The Company on campus. He/she will also heighten awareness of career opportunities in retail and worksite healthcare. His/her core objective will be to drive academic programs and secure the best talent across a broad network of universities. He/she will, also, be responsible for exploring innovative ways to partner with academia and develop inclusion and innovation programs to develop new grad talent within The Company.
The University Relations Talent Business Partner is a member of the Talent Acquisition team and will report into the Talent Programs Manager. The position will require up to 50% travel.
• Develop relationships with both Consumer and Employer Solutions business partners, Talent Acquisition team and HR to establish college recruiting strategy, support hiring goals, and execute plans for business segments
• Recommend and lead marketing activities, help create unified branding for The Company college recruiting, and manage college recruiting social media and web presence
• Provide expertise on college graduate sourcing as a hiring strategy including school selection, diversity, cycle time, and university relations
• Identify key trends in college recruiting related to programs, campuses, market conditions, and strategies; consult and recommend alternatives as appropriate
• Establish and maintain campus contacts in career center and with faculty and student associations
• Ensure that all campus activities, job fairs, information sessions, and interview schedules are effectively planned and executed
• Source, screen, and validate candidates for business segment hiring needs
• Deliver presentations and lectures as a panelist or speaker in a class or at student organization events as a relationship building activity
• Attend events, job fairs, conferences and healthcare forums targeting Family Nurse Practitioner and other healthcare graduates
• Track relationship efforts and candidate pool; develop metric reports/scorecards and present results on hiring and networking activities
• Manage vendor and college relationships

Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of University Relations experience in either a corporate, healthcare or campus setting
• Demonstrated ability to sell/ market ideas, build effective relationships, influence others, and develop consultative solutions to recruit high caliber talent
• Exceptional verbal communication skills with an ability to deliver effective presentations
• Strong relationship management skills with the confidence, energy, and poise to work with internal and external candidates and partners
• Desire and ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment where the peak recruiting season requires extremely high output and strong organizational/time management skills
• Must be able to successfully plan events and execute on all deliverables in a deadline driven environment. Experience in program or project management preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint with the ability to learn other systems including applicant tracking, webtools, CRM databases and other sourcing and networking technologies
• Advanced knowledge and proven experience in social networking activities and interaction including Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, Blogs, Chats, Community Forums and Web Community associations
• Interest and ability to become an expert on all aspects of college recruiting including sourcing strategies, college selection, diversity hiring, assessment, and hiring laws/regulations
• Excellent change management skills, i.e., comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, yet able to set priorities and execute on commitments
• Passionate about UR and Diversity and connects easily with people at all levels – someone that inspires!
• Ability and willingness to travel (nationwide) 50% of the time during peak periods
• Direct experience working in the healthcare industry is preferred
