Job Title:- Sr. Tax Analyst
Job Description:
- Strong knowledge of S&U tax rules in a high technology environment with hardware, software & service products is required.
- Prepare/review monthly/quarterly S&U and Canadian GST returns. Analyze and reconcile the tax accounts.
- Respond to internal and external questions and requests for sales tax breakdowns for customers (a significant portion of time spent).
- Prepare audit documents and interact with S&U tax auditors.
- Process and track Tax Department PO's, invoices and payments, including the setting up of purchase requisitions.
- We are currently in the process of outsourcing our S&U tax return preparation.
- This position will need to participate in the migration and manage the outsourced activity.
- Minimum of 5 years experience covering S&U and property tax areas.
- Position requires a working knowledge of Oracle and Excel and the ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Experience with Sabrix and S&U tax auditors preferred.
- Strong communication skills needed. BS/BA in accounting or finance preferred.
