The Position

The Marketing Coordinator requires superb communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and projects. This job is vital to our success and demands flexibility, a customer-focus, organization and a knack for adapting to multiple work styles and projects. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will forward the efforts of the Marketing department by providing administrative, website maintenance, content editing and event coordination support. You will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of all special events, conferences, and tradeshows for external global audiences. You will coordinate logistics and marketing materials for the various events including, but not limited to, print and promotional collateral, registration, booth set-up, audio/video, Internet services, shipping, etc. You will keep our event scheduling and intranet up-to-date by adding new events, tracking dates and supplies, and ensuring deadlines are met. You will interface with third party vendors and process paperwork to ensure event set-up is complete. You will also assist in other Marketing related initiatives. The position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have 2-5 years of high technology marketing experience. Strong written and oral communication skills are mandatory. MS Office Suite experience and knowledge is critical. Candidates with high energy, a responsive attitude, and a desire for success will be given preference.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Bachelor's degree or experience in marketing.
• Excellent project management, writing, research and analysis, editing, and
proofreading skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of web-based and social media communication portals
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office Suite applications.
• Team oriented, with a demonstrated "get it done" attitude.
• Strong analytical skills and sharp attention to detail.
• Ability to work well without supervision and under deadline pressure.
• Quick learner, with the ability to grasp complex ideas.
• HTML (or Dreamweaver) and Photoshop skills are a plus.
