You will have primary responsibility for:
• Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare inter-company transactions; elimination entries, imputed interest, management fees and other entries related to consolidations.
• Reconcile worldwide intercompany activity, partnering with subsidiaries to resolve any discrepancies.
• Consolidations, intercompany transactions and reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts.
• Maintain and update a detailed analysis of assigned general ledger accounts monthly.
• Obtain detailed supporting documentation for account analysis on a monthly basis and maintain for annual audit process.
• Prepare assigned monthly journal entries related to the close process, including general ledger adjustments, accruals and other recurring journal entries on Lawson accounting system.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Partner with assigned cost center managers on accounting for transactions and review expenses on a monthly basis.
• Act as a guide for budgeting and planning.
• Generate the schedules requested by the auditors and provide the detail support for review.
• Assist with audit preparation.

You have:
• 5-7 years experience as an accountant with specifically a minimum of 2 years as a consolidations accountant and experience working with outside auditors.
• Bachelor degree in accounting or similar level of accounting background, technical experience a must.
• CPA required.
• 5-7 years ERP experience; Lawson and Cognos Finance experience helpful.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; MS Access, Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Cooperative, collaborative work style – teamwork approach.
