Burr Pilger Mayer, the largest California-based accounting and consulting firm, is seeking a Content Marketer to join our marketing team.

Responsibilities include:

Leading BPM's thought leadership/content marketing program—developing and delivering high value content to clients and prospective clients in the form of articles, white papers, ebooks, etc.

Staying current with the latest accounting and finance trends

Generating powerful ideas with a client service bent

Writing, editing, and other editorial-related creation of content.

Working closely with members of the firm to ensure quality content creation.

Managing outward-facing communication. Helping execute the firm's eMarketing campaigns including eNewsletters, alerts, event emails, etc., and ensuring that the website is up-to-date

Copywriting—creating copy for brochures, ads, the firm's website, etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

At least 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in the areas of content marketing and emarketing.

Excellent business writing and editing skills

Knowledge of accounting, tax, and consulting services helpful but not required

Knowledge of marketing automation technology (Marketo, Eloqua, etc.) and CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft CRM, etc.)

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, ASP, and other web and programming languages helpful but not required

Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, and other basic programs

Minimum College GPA of 3.3

Proactive, a self-starter. Will take the initiative to drive the content marketing program and produce results

Team-focused, easy to work with. Our team is small and fast-paced, and the ideal candidate will help achieve the department's overall marketing goals and help it run efficiently.

Fast and precise. Able to multi-task and juggle a varying workload.

Professional, positive demeanor. Able to interact comfortably with senior-level executives
