Position Description:
NetSpend Corporation is a leading provider of prepaid debit cards in the U.S. Prepaid debit cards are a new and innovative financial product experiencing dramatic growth in consumer adoption. The company´s debit cards enable anyone to make purchases, pay bills, secure reservations, and shop online without needing a traditional bank account or access to a credit card.

NetSpend Direct is an entrepreneurial business unit within NetSpend, with responsibility for growing the company's online and direct-to-consumer business line including all facets of customer acquisition, strategic partnerships, and servicing customers through web and mobile platforms.

We are seeking an Acquisitions Marketing Manager to join our team to report to the Director of Acquisition within NetSpend's Direct division. This position is based in San Mateo, CA, and there will be occasional travel to NetSpend's headquarters in Austin, TX. NetSpend is growing quickly and investing in its online and direct business. We're looking to build a world class team of to contribute to building the business. You'll be able to define new customer acquisition growth strategies that continue NetSpend Direct's impressive growth.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for driving growth in new customer accounts for key acquisition direct response channels, including direct mail and emerging new media channels.
• Develop and manage multi-channel customer acquisition strategies that generate profitable customer relationships and maximize ROI.
• Manage programs from concept to execution to performance analysis.
• Work closely with cross-functional team partners within Creative, Finance, Operations, Customer Service, Systems, and Data Analytics teams to implement initiatives and measure performance.
• Manage creative development; message and offer testing to optimize results.
• Manage acquisition marketing budget, account forecasts, and provide business performance updates for assigned channels.
• Source and manage relationships with advertising and lead generation partners across channels.
• Negotiate pricing, execute contracts and ensure partner adheres to compliance policies.
• Maintain knowledge of key partner's product offerings and contract obligations.
• Ensure payments are made to business partners on time.
• Partner with Lifecycle Marketing team to optimize early lifecycle conversion experience and performance.

Skills/Education/Experience:
• 5+ years direct-to-consumer marketing experience in technology, software, financial, or information services industry.
• Bachelors Degree, preferably in business or communications. MBA desirable.
• A leader with exceptional organizational, conceptual, and logical problem solving and technical capabilities.
• Multi-channel B2C marketing and lead generation experience including direct mail, online and emerging media channels; experience with DRTV and partner marketing programs a plus.
• Experience managing direct marketing campaigns, including creative, test design and analysis.
• Maintains good balance of strategic vision and tactical implementation.
• Able to source new lead generation partners and opportunities.
• Adept at building strong relationships with internal and external business partners.
• Data driven, analytical and comfortable working in a data intensive environment.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects.
• Thrives in a fast-moving, changing environment with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated, outgoing, engaging with a self-directed entrepreneurial spirit. Maintains a can-do attitude.
• Strong professional ethics and impeccable personal integrity.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with inbound call centers and script versioning that optimize conversions.
