Account Sales Specialist (Individual must have good solid knowledge of SW, background in inside sales is critical, and some recent experience in outside sales of software product/applications

Position Description:
Participate in presales proof of concept projects, and regional development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales record in gaining new accounts successfully. You are a hunter and have proven yourself in a similar role or are performing that role with another employer. You are a strong team player and responsible for building your book of business. You love working with the internet, email, IM, chat and the telephone and are relentless in your pursuit of new business. You will be measured on the successful revenue production within your assigned geography or account base.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft proposals, prepare quotations, and coordinate with internal departments to come up with solutions for the prospective customers
Collaborate with Management to assist in negotiations, develop and maintain contracts and legal documentation for new business
Organize complex project work streams into a comprehensive program; coordinate work projects as needed of team members.
Reporting. Provide clear, concise oral and written communication to all levels of the organization. Implement status tracking methods to ensure complete transparency to management.
Participate in related trade shows and events
Proactively identify and resolve issues
Communicate with ABBYY USA office support team and other departments
Skills/Knowledge
5-10 years of experience covering technical software knowledge, inside sales, and some outside sales as well
Ability to engage and influence technology management and IT executives on solutions proposed by the company.
Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional Demeanor and client focused attitude
Mobility. Ability and willingness to travel on an inter-regional basis
Willingness to travel (expected 30%)
