[KITlist] Sr. Product Manager (SF Bay Area, CA)

The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for full life-cycle for multiple system solution product lines. The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for market research, product planning, product requirements, roadmap management and EOL planning. The Sr. Product Manager will achieve those goals through market research, customer interaction, understanding of industry trends and own understanding and expectation of market direction. The Sr. Product Manager will work across a cross-functional team composed of Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service and Management to ensure company's vision and plans are met through the product roadmap.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Define product strategy and product roadmap with other team members, engineering, management and sales.
2. Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and business cases.
3. Work with Engineering to define detailed feature requirements that address customer needs.
4. Work with Sales to present, promote and demonstrate products to current and prospective customers.
5. Develop marketing collateral, including website copy, datasheet, and other tools and deliverables to assist in promoting products
6. Research market trends, competitors and understand industry direction.
7. Act as the owner and leader of the product.
8. Develop and manage 2-3 year roadmap for product lines

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Knowledge of PC components, and PC architecture.
2. Knowledge of 3D technology, GPUs, Video and is able to communicate fluently in 3D world
3. Experience with developing and selling products into defense and aerospace markets.
4. Understanding of one of the following industries / markets: ruggedized systems, visual simulation, first person gaming, immersive training
5. Familiar with MIL-STD specifications desired
6. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
8. Must be able to travel approximately 20% of the time
9. A team player and attitude
10. Demonstrated success ability in launching products

Education, Training and Experience
1. Bachelors Degree or greater in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
2. MBA degree perferred
3. 5+ years of experience as Product Manager for hi-tech product.
