Project Details:
"This project is a continuation of the enterprise effort to automate the small group renewal process on a common platform, automate rate and benefit plan changes to the corporate eligibility and billing system, eliminate redundant and manual data entry, and retire multiple legacy systems."
This position is responsible for functions on a highly complex project by working with business partners within multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies; eliciting, documenting, and refining business requirements for the organization; serving as a liaison across multiple facets of the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs; leveraging an informed knowledge of business areas to identify and/or resolve problems on an ongoing basis
ü Strong understanding of system to system interaction
ü Large enterprise experience
ü Healthcare/insurance experience REQUIRED
ü Proven experience engaging business users/owners
ü Knowledge of SDLC is important but must also include the business customer engagement experience as well
ü Experience analyzing environments with multiple data sources and capture necessary data requirements
ü Work closely with SMEs to understand and document data needs and flows
ü Ability to capture technical requirements for SOA applications as well as web services
ü Previous work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate non-functional requirements as related to business processes, policies and information systems
ü Define and document business, and non-functional requirements using appropriate documentation techniques to describe statements of the goals, objectives, or needs of a particular stakeholder or group of stakeholders
ü Translate high-level business requirements into specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications
ü Obtain consensus by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation
ü Provide input to estimates for project management and change management activities through analysis of requirements effort, resources, and technology
ü Experience with HP Quality Center
