Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time Marketing Business Intelligence Analyst consultant for our client located in Milpitas. The consultant will provide reporting and analytic support to our clients’ Services marketing group and will be responsible for analyzing market trends/opportunities and customer installed base data to determine growth opportunities for the business. Responsibilities include: identification of macroeconomic trends that are likely to influence buying behavior, executing ad hoc reporting across multiple fragmented sources, determining ideal customer targets, and distilling findings into insights and actionable recommendations.
This position requires excellent analytical skills and marketing savvy. The ideal candidate has a high degree of intellectual curiosity and has the ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues, is comfortable interpreting meaning and relevance from raw data, and has the ability to present data in a concise manner to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
* Examination of macroeconomic trends across the customer installed base to identify growth opportunities and challenges
* Aggregation of data from multiple sources to create integrated views that can be used to drive strategy formulation and decision-making
* Collect, validate and verify data. Follow-up on data discrepancies or integrity issues. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate data points are captured
* Segment customer base in numerous ways (e.g.: size, vertical, services offerings purchased, etc.) to identify high potential opportunities
* Use latitude to consider and decide which tools, solutions, practices and or procedures to use
* Effectively organize and communicate findings to management
Skills:
* Degree (MBA preferred) in finance, statistics, economics, or mathematics
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, preferably in a marketing organization. Must include experience working for at least one large technology company
* Must be experienced with inspecting, cleaning, transforming, mapping, and analyzing/modeling data with the goal of highlighting useful information to support decision-making
* Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work individually or in a team environment
* Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Rate: $2600/week as a w2 employee of Crawford Group
Location: Onsite at client offices in Milpitas. No phone calls, please.
Hours/Duration: Full time, ASAP-ongoing
