Job Summary

Partnerpedia's Enterprise Relationship Manager will be responsible for engaging with large 'blue chip' companies and selling our App Store Solution at a senior level within the account. Often the decision maker is a line of business owner.
Example customers include, Cisco, Microsoft and Alcatel Lucent. Working in an early stage company with SaaS, mobility and social media experience is an asset. The role is also primarily focused on new business due to the nature of the SaaS sales model.

Reporting Duties

The successful candidate will report to the VP of Sales, and work closely with the greater sales and account management team. This person will be trained and supported by proper sales and marketing tools which they will be expected to use to meet their assigned quarterly sales quota.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Enterprise Relationship Manager will be responsible for prospecting new sales leads, driving deals and spearheading the consultative selling process that moves deals from initial introduction to close. Critical to this role is drive, attention to detail and a passion for business and conquering goals. IT Channel Partner experience is an asset.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Identifying, negotiating and closing new sales opportunities to meet quarterly sales quotas.
• Diagnosing and identifying the customer's business needs against Partnerpedia's solutions and abilities.
• Accurate forecasting and reporting on sales activities and opportunities in SFDC
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Partnerpedia Go to market strategies, competitors and market landscape
• Sourcing, building and maintaining excellent client relationships and high client satisfaction ratings.
• Developing relationships with prospects and customers to learn their business.

Requirements/Qualifications

This position requires high volume prospecting activity and the tenacity to manage a 3-9 month sales cycle, with typical order values of around $200K to $500K. More specifically, the successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate 10+ years of proven success in a consultative selling environment.
• Have proven experience selling IT/Web services.
• Ensure high activity levels are achieved weekly (levels to be agreed with Manager)
• Have in-depth knowledge of and experience in the technology industry and Direct Sales experience (vs. partner or channel sales)
• Have experience selling into multiple management and executive levels within enterprise organizations.
• Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate complicated subject matter clearly.
• Possess exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Demonstrate the flexibility needed to navigate successfully in a highly competitive, rapidly changing culture.
• Welcome approximately 25% travel.
• Demonstrate ability to work remotely.
• Have a history of taking initiative and being a self-starter.
• Experience with SalesForce.com.
• Possess a college degree.
