Role: Sr. Manager, Channel Marketing Strategy and Readiness

Position Overview:
Channel Impact is seeking a Senior Channel Marketing Manager, for our client's WW Channel Marketing organization.
In this role you will be responsible for playing a lead role in driving the overall channel strategy partnering closely with the GEOs and the corporate marketing organization. This individual will be an advocate of the partner voice inside corporate, championing the end to end program requirements for channel success. The position is responsible for driving the integrated channel marketing plan to define and implement our client's channel marketing objectives globally collaborating with a cross functional team to understand business drivers, opportunities, and then implement the specific marketing requirements to successfully market to and through the channels.
Through the integrated marketing model, this individual will lead the planning and deployment of project plans, development of metrics and manage against project goals and metrics. They are the drivers of project progression and milestones. Being a team player at all times and the ability to see the big picture is a must.
This is a W2 opportunity at Channel Impact
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ability to manage and drive the evolution of the channel strategy and readiness function inside corporate marketing programs leading expansion, improvement and increasing internal and external value.
-Define and manage metrics across channel disciplines, marketing functions and programs to ensure the activities are making business impact around partner experience, partner sales and program adoption.
- Provide leadership, direction and guidance to be the voice of the channel inside corporate. The focus will be to integrate channel GTM process and channel driven decision-making process into the operational model.
- Responsible for driving a unified planning approach across groups to maximize collaboration, cooperation, impact and influence.
- Own and lead the development, coordination and execution of a channel marketing plan and relevant channel deliverables.
-Leads multi-disciplinary department teams & cross-functional project teams to meet program objectives: Channel Program Office, Channel Marketing in-Geo or WW teams, Corporate Marketing, Solutions Marketing, Partners and Sales.
-Communicates channel strategy and project roadmaps prioritizing and integrating key programs to drive effective programs. Be able to represent, influence and implement channel partner requirements to corporate initiatives and programs.
Skill sets:
• A minimum of 10 years of channel management, channel marketing experience is required.
• Global channel marketing or global marketing programs management experience
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines at once
• Influencing skills
• Team player with experience working with all level of management from Program Managers to Senior level managers/Directors
• Previous experience working at Oracle, SAP, Red Hat, Microsoft or Intel is a plus
• A senior level individual with deep experience in bringing channel to the forefront of priorities and objective setting within complex organizations
• The ability to balance strategy and execution driving cross-functional engagements and results
• Exceptional leadership and program management skills
• Thrives in a fast paced and fast changing environment adept at performing amidst ambiguity and challenges
• A proven relationship builder with Internal Groups and Field Teams.
• Superior presentation, communication skills, written and oral, to a broad set of internal and external stakeholders. Confidence, composure and the comfort in presenting to senior executives is critical.
• The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis skills as well as experience in driving long term channel strategies
• Strong presentation skills
• A B.A or B.S. is required. MBA preferred.
