This position is accountable for development, implementation, and administration of all phases of Health and Benefits. Manages the implementation, administration, and communication of the various employee benefit programs, including but not limited to life, health, dental, pharmaceuticals, wellness, flex spending, voluntary and disability insurance, as well as 401(k), pension and related retirement programs.
Leads all communications and education programs to inform employees throughout the organization of the benefits plans.
Recommends new and/or improved employee benefit plans and cost saving measures to the Director of Total Rewards. Provides input on plan improvements. Manages to the plans making modifications if necessary. Leads benefits related projects. Ensures compliance with all legal requirements of various employee benefit programs; assists with collection of data for preparation of required legal reports. Files all required government forms. (ERISA, COBRA, HIPPA, Heath Care Reform, etc.)
Manages retirement, group medical, disability and life plans. Manages the administration of all plans including executive benefit plans. Leads projects to drive continuous improvement to the administration of the benefits plans.
Develops project teams to drive these improvements. Implements the company's competitive benefits plans and drives the company's strategic goals as outlined by the Total Rewards Director. Responsible for selection and supervision of benefits consultants and brokers.
Evaluation of reports from vendors. Administration of the benefits plans to ensure customer satisfaction among employees. Builds strong, effective high performance teams. Influences and motivates for strong performance. Improves the performance of others through coaching/feedback.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree required
10 years Benefits Administration, 5 years of management experience
CBP, CEBS certification preferred
