Build and Release Engineer
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: San Jose CA

Overview:
Scripting with GIT for software releases. Source code management.
Design and implement a build and release process for complex software code base.
Involvement in code modularization on a large scale code-base
Identify infrastructure requirements, design and implement generic solutions.
Monitor and guide others on the usage of component framework to improve efficiency
Write technical specifications and design documents.
Work within an Agile work environment
Requirements:
5+ years of embedded software development experience in a multi-threaded environment
GIT or CVS and Makefile experience is a MUST, experience with CMake is a plus
Must have experience with one or more of the following: Bash/Perl/Python etc. Perl is preferred as that is what they are using.
Build and release experience on Linux platform
Experience with Electric Cloud Build system is a plus
Experience with code refactoring and modularization required
Code analysis tools such as used for dependency graphs an asset
Excellent C programming skills and threading libraries is a plus
Static analysis tool experience a plus
Experience designing and implementing generic C libraries for multiple build targets
Networking and IP protocol experience is a plus
