Title: Sr. Event Program Manager
Duration: 10+ months
Location: SJ, CA
Starts out 20 hrs/week then go to FT in March

- Lead/Attend Bi-Weekly Meetings:
- Responsible to sell the value, goals and objectives and all components within the program
- Lead all stakeholder related meetings with the exception of the Global Meeting lead by the Operations Mgr.
- Create and distribute meeting agendas, recordings, and notes
- Attend bi-weekly Global and Content Production/Content calls
- Maintain and post files to Region/Market Segment specific Docs and DocsX
- Collaborate with other Region/Market Segment Event Managers on creating upcoming agenda items and presentation
- Collaborate and oversee Region/Market Segment activities and a clear understanding in the following areas:
Attendance policies
- Session management to include: production, speaker management, logistics & messaging in collaboration w/GSX production content team, participation in digital engagements strategies
- All Local Experience elements in approximately 16-35 host cities, depending on region. Areas include Executive Host Program, Catering & Celebration Activities, Recognition, Travel & Housing, etc.
- Oversee web content on stakeholder specific information on WebEx Social

Registration requirements
- Ensure all timeline deliverables are met and executed
- Budget management of funding allocations

Collaborate with Work Streams and Business Partners:
- Content Production and Development
- Audience Engagement
- Digital and Technology
- Operations
- Sales Recognition

Core Team Responsibilities
- Work from San Jose office at a minimum of 2 days/week
- Collaborate with team members to meet overall global goals
- Review and edit documents as needed
- Communicate stakeholder needs and ensure a clear understanding
- Understand Objectives and Strategies, and be able to articulate them to stakeholders

On-Site Execution
- Main point of contact to Region/Market Segment stakeholder(s) and/or teams
- Field all inquiries and issues
- Attend/Moderate sessions during the live & virtual event
- Ability to travel to region if necessary

Post Conference Activity
- Schedule and lead Region/Market Segment debrief meetings
- Provide debrief notes
- Participate in work stream, staff and core debrief meetings
- Post all final documents

Skills:
- Excellent communications skills including strong written communications, presentation development skills
- Experience with leading cross functional and global teams
- Strong project management, negotiation and decision making skills
- Ability to work among a dynamic, fast-paced marketing & sales organization
- Comfortable communicating effectively with all levels of management
- Ability to balance quality of work across multiple deadlines
- Flexibility and Ability to adapt to changing priorities & direction
- Excellent attention to detail/ Critical eye for Quality Assurance
- Strong relationship building, collaboration, diplomacy and influence skills across global teams & project functions

Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in event management
- Strong excel/database understanding
- Experience with social media platforms and virtual programs a plus
