This position will report to a Mine Superintendent; responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing various HR functions such as labor relations, employment, affirmative action, EEO, employee disciplinary step procedures, etc.
This position has great upside potential.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3-5 yrs. as a supervisor in the above areas
• BS Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related discipline is required.
• This position requires a strong heavy industrial, plant and labor background dealing with unions such as UMWA, UAW, Teamsters, United Steel Workers, etc. as well as interpretation and management of bargain & wage agreements.
