WhiteHat Security is headquartered in the Silicon Valley (Santa Clara) and also has a key technical team in Houston, Texas.
As the Manager of SME Sales, you will help oversee the execution of the overall SME sales strategy through the ongoing development and management of a growing team of SME account Executives. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Corporate Sales at our Santa Clara, CA office.
As a key member of the Sales team, you will provide the direct leadership and direction necessary to create an environment that motivates a bright sales organization to drive new and upsell business. In large part, success in this position will be dependent on several key factors:
•Executing on WhiteHat's business strategy in order to drive new logo sales, and add-on and upsell business into an existing SME customer base
•Leading and developing a talented team of high-performing sales professionals in a rapid-growth environment
•Proven track record building sales organizations that excel at outbound calling to small and mid-market businesses
•Assist in the implementation of a consistent strategy for developing regional partners
•Identifying specific market segments and their needs while seamlessly tailoring sales strategies targeting those segments
Desired Skills & Experience
•A seasoned career Sales professional with a minimum of 3- 5 years of senior Sales experience in a high productivity inside selling organization
•A clear track record of leading dramatic growth across multiple channels for a company selling technology-related products directly to small to medium sized businesses
•A world-class sales leader with a proven track record of success
•Strong technical or data-driven sales expertise and the proven ability to evangelize it, along with the ability to conceptualize and teach sales principles and practices
•A skilled communicator who can articulate the WhiteHat vision in a clear and compelling way that immediately generates excitement, enthusiasm and a commitment to the vision in subordinates, peers and external partners
•A proven motivator of people with undeniable experience in rallying people, not afraid to roll up his or her sleeves
•A Salesforce.com reporting and analytics professional
•A track record of attracting and retaining top talent
•Ability to take your work seriously but have a sense of humor
