Chief Scientist of Virtualization Programs
Summary;
The Chief Scientist of Virtualization Programs is responsible for setting the vision for the virtualization technology roadmap across Huawei business units. The scope spans from; virtualization technology for cloud and data-center; virtualization technology for carrier devices; virtualization technology for mobile devices; including computing virtualization, network virtualization, and storage virtualization. OS Virtualization, next-gen RTOS, mobile OS and various Linux-based technologies. The Chief Scientist of Virtualization Programs is responsible to work with Huawei’s Central Software Institute putting together research proposals and drive prototyping of advanced systems.
Requirements;
The ideal candidate should have 10-15+ years experience in operating systems, networking, virtualization and open source initiatives as well as familiarity with virtualization technology, Linux Kernel and multi-core systems. A Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred. Those with relevant patents and papers and/or open source contributors strongly preferred.
