Description
Fujitsu Management Services of America, Inc. provides administrative and financial support to Fujitsu North American companies. The company offers shared services in tax, facilities, employee benefit programs, human resources and other administrative functions.

The company also supports Fujitsu Limited, its Japanese parent company, in procurement operations; and provides IT support to National Astronomical Observatory of Japan with the operation of Subaru telescope in Hilo, Hawaii.

Responsible for development and execution of vision, positioning, messaging and G2M strategy of Fujitsu PaaS (Platform as a Service). Fujitsu PaaS is a new cloud offering from Fujitsu mainly focuses on SaaS and on-premise application integration, and targeted to both new market segments and Fujitsu existing customer base. It covers both marketing and business development functions to support Fujitsu HQ and the management building a new cloud business stream for Fujitsu.

Lead and manage both marketing and business development team members to

Develop communication tools, such as presentations, data sheets, whitepaper, video clips, web site and webinars, and communication itself to be made through mainly on-line vehicles.
Run specific marketing campaigns and programs to reach out to the target audiences, such as specific verticals, cloud integrators, ISVs, Google App communities and more, to drive awareness and demand for the offering.
Communicate with analyst communities to advocate Fujitsu vision and direction.
Establish the partner ecosystem consisting of cloud integrators, cloud service brokerages, ISVs and developer communities (initial focus to be cloud integrators and cloud service brokerage).
Develop and promote partner programs to make the partnership models repeatable.
Identify opportunities through Fujitsu internal channels globally.
Refine strategy and direction (including offering roadmap) based on feedback through the above activities.
Specific Tasks:
Work with cross-functional team on product launch-related activities.
Collect and analyze market research data, translate into competitive advantage positioning and messaging. Evaluate for new target markets and segments.
Develop, validate, document, and advocate offering requirements (MRD) with the product management at Fujitsu HQ.
Develop offering packaging and pricing strategy and advocate to product, field and business management.
Provide content for roadmaps and offering collateral, including presentations, announcements, media and public communications, data sheets, brochures, white papers, video clips, web site, etc., and also plan and execute the communication plan mainly through online vehicle, such as web site, online events, SNS and any other creative approach to the targeted audiences.
Create and deliver executive briefing modules. Support business development, field sales and partners in customer visits, product briefings and researching answers as needed for RFP/RFI processes.
Drive analyst relations efforts by continuous communications with them and participating to their research projects to ensure favorable positioning in their reports. Lead analyst inquiries, briefings and strategy sessions to ensure consistency and accuracy of messages delivered.
Review and re-profile the existing partnerships to nominate premier partners to further incubate for different regions and domains.
Develop a target list of cloud integrators and cloud service brokerages, initially, to develop Fujitsu PaaS-based service partner ecosystem, who deliver end solutions to enterprise customers. This effort will mainly focus on mid to large size of cloud integrator and cloud service brokerages.
Drive actual partner recruitment process, in coordination with other organizations, such as Fujitsu HQ. This requires creative ideas for business models, commercial framework, incentive plans and joint G2M strategy for the partners. It also involves public communications around establishment of the relationships to build market awareness.
Materialize partner programs for different type of partners to make the process repeatable.
Identify focused G2M strategy with Fujitsu internal channels. This will be carried out in three steps:
Develop a cross-sell model with Fujitsu PaaS and other existing offerings, such as IaaS, SaaS, Application Management Service, Managed Service, Call Center Service and more.
Identify domain specific solution areas that fit with the existing business lines of Fujitsu internal channels, such as Lotus Notes migration, and SAP and Salesforce.com complementally solution areas.
Identify specific G2M strategies of such selected domain specific solutions and run campaign to develop opportunities for Fujitsu internal channels.



Qualifications

Educational/Work Experience:
More than 10 years of related business experience, with at least 5 years of management experience in business development function.
MBA or higher education a plus.
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to manage a team to meet key objectives and know when to escalate to senior management.
Can work long distance with other functions, such as R&D and Sales organizations in remote locations.
Needs to be recognized by peers, management, customers and partners as an expert in his/her professional fields.
Must be extremely process oriented and can manage multi-function complex and global-based tasks, projects, teams and work environments.
Understand the need to effectively and concisely communicate between cross functional teams.
Understanding of mainly US and European market trends, the selling season that necessitate strategic moves resulting in the required configurations and pricing actions.
