The role of Benefits Manager designs, implements and administers corporate health, welfare, retirement, and savings programs. This position is responsible for ensuring programs are effective, compliant and meet business needs. The incumbent is responsible for management of plan administration and all related vendors.

• Assists the Global Director, Compensation and Benefits in the overall strategy and design of health, welfare, retirement, and savings plans. Leads the implementation of solutions and benefits' continuous process improvements.
• Oversees overall project implementations, communications, vendor changes, plan design changes, and issues resolution.
• Manages multiple vendor relations, ensuring effective service delivery.
• Determines cost-effective benefits practices. Identifies continuous process improvements and recommends benefit changes when necessary.
• Leads implementation of new benefit programs.
• Remains apprised of legislative regulations including National Healthcare Reform, benefit market trends and practices among similar organizations. Audits benefit plans for compliance.
• Ensures appropriate and timely communications with employees and government agencies.
• Oversees internal and external auditing of benefit programs including data provision and coordination with third parties.
• Responsible for all employee claim appeals and ensuring appropriate and timely resolution.
• Provides oversight into the company's global benefits programs.
• Serves as HIPPA Privacy Officer.

Requirements
• Minimum 5-10 years of related experience and/or training required
• Knowledge of benefits administration, including Section 125 regulations, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, IRS, FLSA regulations, and ERISA.
• Third-party administration and multi-state experience Strong analytical, systems, project management and vendor management skills.
• Strong customer-oriented focus with an ability to deal with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field required;
• CEBS designation preferred.
• Someone that can handle the strategic, but can (and will) get their hands dirty in the execution.
