Director of Compensation & HRIS, Wind River Systems, Alameda, CA

The Director of Compensation & HRIS will provide hands-on leadership in the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Wind River's compensation and HRIS programs. The Director ensures that all offerings are aligned with the company's strategic goals and that Wind River remains competitive in the marketplace.

This senior position will report to Wind River's Senior Vice President of Human Resources, and will work closely with global team members, internal clients, and Wind River's parent and sister companies on transactions and projects.

As part of the Human Resources Management team, the Director of Compensation will manage Compensation and HR Systems. This person will interact and partner with employees of all levels, executives and business leaders to support a customer-focused culture. This Director strives to create an attractive place to work that supports the business. While major focus will be on the direct management of plans in the US and Canada where the majority of our employees reside, this position will also assist and support our staff in Europe and Asia.

Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience designing and managing compensation programs
- 2+ years global compensation experience
- 2+ years HRIS management experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to work with all levels of employees
- Strong interpersonal and management skills with the ability to motivate others
- Proven negotiation skills
- Strong team player/peer relationships
- Experience with building competitive compensation models and strong process management skills
