Title: Sr. Project Manager:
Contract: 6+months (renewed quarterly)
Location: San Jose, CA or Remote
Must be able to work flexible hours..working with managers in other countries.
-Overall Responsibilities (Work with Product Mgr):
-Would own data collection/analysis, metric reporting; measuring success of the product.
-Responsible for working with the Product manager to manage the overall development/innovation roadmap, including prioritization of all roadmap items (including bugs, enhancements, testing).
-Main Enhancement and Bug tracking software to ensure the team is working on those items prioritized by the Prod. Mgr.
-Produce bi-weekly status slides in preparation for team meetings.
-Other tasks as identified.
Skills:
-Must be experienced in data collection, analysis and reporting; must have excellent MS Excel skills
-Tenacious; ability to bring team together to create a holistic end to end plan
-Ability to handle ambiguity; to collect facts, issues, risks and put an action plan around them.
-Experience & proven ability in planning and implementing large complex project plans (and other hi-level tasks associated with Project/Release Management).
-Ability to holistically plan project elements, providing visibility and predictability to operational planning and activities.
-Maintains planning and release metrics; provides reports summarizing release successes/issues.
-Excellent data analysis and analytics skills; possess ability to select the proper format of graphs, charts to get the point across.
Experience/Education:
PMP desired
3 years project planning experience
2 year degree or certification in Project (Business) Management.
2-3 years data analytics (collection and analysis).
