Position Overview:
Channel Impact is seeking a full time Global Partner Marketing Program Manager. In this role you will be responsible for helping to drive the channel success of a new category of solutions. The client currently, solutions to address various market opportunities as the bring-your-own-device trend, desktop virtualization, and using video to give customers access to experts in banks, retail locations, etc. Solutions meet the needs of both enterprise and midsize customers. Most solutions include both the client and third-party products.
Since these solutions are more complex than point products, our goal is to simplify the experience by creating standard processes, to accelerate partner success with comprehensive partner resources, and to reward partners with differentiation and other benefits.
To be successful, the partner marketing manager needs to be able to manage multiple, complex projects, working with different functional areas and geographies as well as engaging with partners.
This is a W2 opportunity at Channel Impact.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Collaborate with Cisco functional organizations and regions to build and execute the global marketing strategy and plan for the new solution.
-Create a marketing roadmap, enabling partners to prepare for new offers from the client.
-Develop the partner value proposition, messaging, and positioning to differentiate the client and create clear value for the partners reselling the solutions.
-Ensure partners have the resources (partner sales guides, presentations, campaign assets, etc.) to be successful.
-Work with vendors to develop partner assets.
-Collaborate with the partner marketing communications team to deliver clear, relevant, targeted communications to partners.
-Launch and sustain new/updated solutions.
-Engage with other organizations to ensure the solution is supported with comprehensive training/enablement, services, incentives/promotions, etc.
-"Package" partner resources in a way that makes it easy for partners to understand and use (includes website delivery).
-Work with the regional partner marketing teams to execute.
-Measure and report results to management.
Skill Sets:
-10 or more years of partner marketing experience, with a strong understanding of partner business models (VARs, distribution, SIs, ISVs, etc.)
-Strong background in partner marketing strategy
-Excellent written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to write clear, compelling messaging and content for partners
-Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with and influence senior-level managers/directors
-Experience in working with partners selling into commercial/midsize space a plus
-Team player, with the ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams
-Good understanding of technology—networking, data center, collaboration—with the ability to translate technology into clear, compelling language for partners
-Experience in developing and executing successful demand-gen strategies for partners
-Excellent project management and decision-making skills
-Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and consistently follow-through on projects
-Ability to manage internal and external vendors, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget
Education
•BA or BS Required. MBA is a plus.
