SMB Account Executive
Description: We are looking for motivated, articulate, high-energy quota carrying Inside Sales professionals with a proven track record. This individual must be able to own the entire sales cycle in a geographical territory. SMB Account Executives sell to existing Wind River customers, new accounts, and partners. SMB Account Executives work alongside a technical account manager and product overlay specialists to create the demand for Wind River solutions and build a pipeline of qualified prospects.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Build and manage an accurate forecast to achieve a quota goal
• Sell to mid-level and senior level engineering decision makers
• Meet with and listen to the needs of prospective customers to understand their current and future technical requirements
• Schedule demonstrations, meetings, etc. to present the value proposition of using Wind River solutions to the customer
• Sell Wind River education services as well as mentoring and professional services engagements.
• Understanding and executing complex sales contracts
• Understand the strengths and weaknesses of our competitor products
• Preparing detailed quotes and proposals
• Maintaining customer and contact data in the Wind River CRM system
We are looking for individuals who are committed to a career in sales. This position can lead to other sales roles with greater responsibility.
Requirements:
BS/BA Degree
Approximately 4 years technology sales experience in the software arena
Embedded software sales and OEM marketplace experience a plus
Demonstrated success using a consultative, solutions oriented sales approach
Track record of success achieving or exceeding assigned quota
Professional work ethic and integrity
Strong hunting and prospecting skills
Evidence of success selling high dollar value solutions to new and existing customers
Excellent listening, presentation and public speaking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
