We are seeking a Windows Server Engineer with strong Windows Server OS skills

to work with a project team to review, analyze, and upgrade our existing Server 2003 equipment

to Server 2008 R2 or newer (2013).

 

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Windows Server

with corporate (Enterprise level) experience preferred.

·       This candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced 24x7 environment with

·       On-call duties as required and must possess the ability to work with a diverse, high-performance team. 

·       During the contract period, the contractor is expected to supply his/her own cell phone for work related calls and text pages

 

The successful candidate will become a member of the Enterprise Wintel Services team within the Information Technology Department of this large (30k employees) Fortune 500 company.

·       The candidate will be a member of the Wintel Infrastructure team.

Job Summary:

The Creative Services Traffic Manager/Managed Services Lead will communicate the Creative Services process and requirements to internal stakeholders and teams. Traffic Management Responsibilities:

Monitor incoming Creative Work Requests (CWRs) on a daily basis; work with internal designers to assess and assign work to creative teams

Attend regular meetings with design team to assess workload on an ongoing basis

Work closely with creative teams to balance workload

Keep all creative projects moving smoothly to completion

Keep all informed of conflicts, delays or any other unusual situations

Advocate for appropriate timelines of projects and obtain deadline extensions when necessary

Enforce adherence to work-flow processes, Brand guidelines and deadlines

Maintain workload data for monthly and quarterly metric output

Promote smooth workflow and communication between departments

Client Managed Services Lead Responsibilities:

Primary on-site contact for client – discuss needs, consultant performance, new projects

Work with client to track and distribute workflow

Assign and manage consultants daily workload and results

Manage client expectations and requests

Consultant mentoring

Work back with Crawford Group teams for additional project support, consultant selection to secure new talent, interviews and recommends new talent

Lead a weekly Crawford Group consultant team meeting

Skills:

5 + years' experience as a Traffic Manager for Creative Services organizations

Successful operations experience in a marketing and/or creative services organization

Client service focus, ability to problem solve with professionalism

Strong communicator, verbal and written

EXPERT Excel skills + proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite programs

Preferred: Experience interfacing with an asset management system. Must be comfortable working with different types of creative files and be able to upload files to a DAM system.

Adobe Acrobat proficiency is required

Proven experience assessing workload and assigning resources, ideally including consultants and vendors

Must have people management experience and be comfortable driving and managing a creative team

Ability to transition between continuously shifting workload priorities and assign resources for maximum efficiency

Extremely detail oriented and able to develop and track to timelines

Safety:

•             Oversee the safety and health programs, policies and procedures impacting the organization plan and implement measures to ensure that work hazards are controlled

•             Review, revise or create current policies and procedures related to the management of our company’s Workers’ Compensation exposures, including return to work programs, timely reporting and investigation of claims

•             Develop and implement ongoing education for organizational safety issues and concerns

•             Investigate all workplace accidents including near misses to determine the cause of the accident, providing a written report of the findings and making recommendations on how to prevent reoccurrence

•             Develop and administer recognition systems to promote safe and healthful work performance

•             Act as Health, Safety and Risk Management interface with internal/external customer functions

•             Identify company safety training needs and develop and coordinate safety training programs

•             Develop annual company safety and health goals

•             Support regional and corporate procurement in selection of appropriate personal protective equipment

•             Promote safety and health awareness through internal company memoranda, newsletters, and specific training programs

•             Monitor lost-time injuries/illnesses and Worker's Compensation Claims

•             Maintenance of claims databases and RMIS systems

•             Review, revise or create current policies and procedures related to the management of organizational Workers’ Compensation exposures, including return to work programs, timely reporting and investigation of claims

•             Accountable for meeting key performance metrics, identifying variances, root cause and implementing action plans for achieving targets.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

•             Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in safety, risk management and benefits administration.

•             Bachelor’s Degree in an EHS discipline, preferred.

Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Graphic Designer experienced in the art of executive story-telling through presentations and visual communications. This is a full time consulting opportunity with an established technology company in Santa Clara. (The company has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant by Gartner for 14 consecutive years.) The role requires full time on-site support in Santa Clara, where you will partner with the Office of the President and CEO to design impactful technology presentations that inspire internal employee audiences and external customer, partner and investor audiences. The Graphic Designer will work directly with the Executive Communications Lead to provide graphic design support for presentations.



The Graphic Designer will be expected to visually illustrate strategic points from executives and participate in the process of story refinement. The Consultant must be able to work "real time," contribute with relevant business input and strive to simplify visual assets to increase the impact of a presentation. This role requires your ability to create presentation decks from scratch in PowerPoint and requires your active collaboration, business understanding and emotional maturity.

Specific Responsibilities:



Collaborate with Executive Communications Lead in the story development process for keynote presentations and internal employee communications

Collaborate with executives to identify strategic points and guide the process of story refinement

Carefully identify the desired outcome of a presentation and provide relevant input for refinements

Provide ideas and solutions of how to simplify presentations for greater impact

Skills:



At least 2-3 years of graphic design experience, preferably at an agency or large company

Emotional maturity in working with Executives; must perform with grace under pressure

Extreme attention to detail and accuracy; executive-level presentations contribute to the brand of the executive and must be error free

Must be capable of prioritizing your workload and quality checking your own work; must be comfortable asking for guidance if competing priorities come into play; this also means being capable of knowing when to ask for help before it is too late to come up with solutions to meet a deadline

Attitude of accountability; committed to high quality output

Flexible and resilient personality; patient with executives in the story development process

Capable of remaining calm and effective in a fast-paced environment

Has the presence of mind to know when to slow-down to increase the quality of the work

Ability to ask probing questions real-time; must pull out salient points to be communicated through visual arts

Experience or familiarity with the Internet of Things or Industrial Internet concepts is preferred

Expert level PowerPoint skills, including the ability to incorporate financial charts/large sets of data into slide decks

Sample presentation work will be required

BA/BS in Graphic Design, Communications, Business, Marketing, Design or similar is required



RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group, benefits available
