The inbound Lead Development Rep is responsible for building sales pipeline by transitioning customer inquiries into qualified leads for the North America sales theatre. LDRs are the first line of contact in the sales process and must be able to engage suspects/prospects with appropriate qualifying questions and conversations to drive interest in Polycom's RealPresence Platform, Voice, Video, and UC solutions.
Provide sales response and lead qualification for high volume inbound flow of phone calls and web-chats in a fast-paced call center environment.
Escalate thoroughly qualified leads to the sales organization
Execute on various call campaigns to support integrated sales and marketing demand generation initiatives
Distribute qualified sales leads to selected business partners
Responsible for achieving daily call quota, lead qualification targets, and conversion rate metrics
Utilize Salesforce.com to maintain and update quality information
Maintain and expand Polycom solution-set utilization and industry knowledge
Comply with all lead-management service-level agreements (SLAs)
Desired Skills and Experience
Highly-evolved prospecting skills including the ability to engage in meaningful conversations with all levels of management and technical professionals.
Demonstrate knowledge of metrics oriented environment with regards to productivity and lead conversion rates.
Aptitude for acquiring selling skills and technical product knowledge.
Superior knowledge of accessing and using the Internet, SFA tools, and MS Office tools. SFDC experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong telephone presence required.
Ability to work cross-departmentally (CAN YOU MULTI TASK ) with Sales, Marketing, and other business units.
