Job Summary

Robert Half is seeking a highly talented and strategic leader for the role of Director, Benefits and HRIS. The Director, Benefits and HRIS is expected to help develop the strategic road map for our company's global total rewards with particular emphasis on strategically leading benefits, HRIS and workers compensation functions.

Regarding the Benefits function, this role will be expected to:

• Provide strategic leadership to a talented benefits team in benefits analysis, design, implementation, administration and oversight of domestic and international benefits programs.

• Monitor, evaluate and analyze existing benefit program offerings relative to the marketplace, employee needs and firm objectives, recommending process and program enhancements, design changes and outsource/resource decisions.

• Manage the relationship with benefits administration outsource providers for health, welfare, 401(k), and other programs. This includes working closely with multiple external vendors and internal departments and maintaining depth of knowledge of the programs and best practices in the marketplace to strategically lead the benefits function and communicate successfully with leadership across the company and the executive team.

• Be continually prepared to effectively present and provide insight on trends, opportunities, costs, quality, employee satisfaction, gaps and potential options and solutions to executive management.

For HRIS:

• Provide assessment of current systems and systems needs and develop a vision for the architecture of the HRIS system and roadmap for its development to meet current and future company needs.

• Work with IT to design and build the infrastructure needed to obtain maximum operability and functionality of current systems while designing and developing an enterprise system that is well interfaced globally as needed with outsourcers and vendors plus all global offices.

• Build and lead an HRIS team that is service oriented and fully integrated as a human resources operations function. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with IT and across all functional HR areas to develop and integrate innovative solutions in support of business objectives and develop, implement, or modify system requirements and systems support.

• Oversee the development and maintenance of internal database files and tables, and ultimate functionality for information processing and reporting that meets the requirements of management and employees.

• Develop and oversee the execution of tactical plans to ensure that HRIS supports the Company's strategic objectives and compliance with various governance and audit requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted; prefer advanced degree in related field.

•15+ years' experience in benefits; 10+ years��� of direct management/supervisory experience in benefits, compensation or human resources and 7+ years' business systems and project delivery experience.

• Experience building and maintaining relationships with external vendors and managing outsourced program delivery against established performance and budget factors.

• Strategic expertise in leading the integration of technology, preferably HRIS systems with business systems and architecture, for achievement of current and future needs.

• Experience working with and through people in a global matrix environment to establish goals, objectives, action plans and team project results.

• Depth of knowledge and experience with self insured, self funded benefits insurance administration, claims management and worker's compensation, including compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as international compliance and marketplace demands.

• Experience with cost analysis of benefits, strategic planning, continuous process and quality improvement and project management.

• Knowledge of database software, tools and usage, preferably ADP, PeopleSoft, Success Factors, and Workday experience.

• Experience, knowledge and intellectual rigor to present effectively to large employee groups and executive level plus excellent vendor negotiation and project management skills.
