Americas Partner Marketing Manager: OEM Alliances – SAP Intel

Channel Impact is looking to hire an experienced Alliance Partner Marketing Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role you will be working with our client that has well-established alliances with SAP and Intel. Each of these alliances are independent, strategic, tier-one, global partners with them. Your role will be to managing the partner marketing aspect of the relationship.

This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.

Responsibilities:

The Alliance Marketing Manager position will manage joint-marketing initiatives for the alliances with SAP and Intel in the Americas:

Develop, define, manage and execute cutting-edge, marketing and sales programs based upon pre-existing strategies and initiatives defined by separate marketing entities.

Collaborate with and directly integrate marketing initiatives with alliance sales teams and ensure full comprehension of sales plans for marketing integration.

Ensure marketing programs influence and yield sales revenue and measurable result��� Foster and influence go-to-market plans to joint-marketing initiatives with joint- Alliance value proposition, messaging and content.

Deliver focused execution on outbound marketing and sales enablement initiatives in the Americas sales region.

This senior level marketing role has primary responsibility for directly managing the Americas marketing relationship with SAP and Intel. Success will be measured by the person's ability to plan and execute joint marketing plans tied to business objectives for growth. This person will also be responsible for development of marketing programs that result in high quality leads and sales opportunities.

Pursuant to initiating and executing successful marketing initiatives, the ideal candidate will be responsible for and need to demonstrate capabilities to manage the following:

Development, delivery and execution of tactics, programs and plays that ensure successful awareness, outbound reach and demand development that directly results in driving transactional revenue, attracting net-new accounts and communicating high-value solutions resulting in large deal sizes.

Integration of key messaging, promotional offerings and other compelling value propositions onto sales enablement and outbound marketing programs.

Incorporating existing marketing elements and programs into joint-marketing initiatives.

Initiation of new virtualization technologies/products solutions into the Americas Market via marketing awareness.

Drive online, offline and social media activities, events and programs that integrate outbound marketing with sales programs to maximize marketing effectiveness.

Sales enablement and demand/lead generation activities; and leveraging core-content related to go-to-market plans for products, solutions and services.

Ensure comprehensive prospect/lead follow up, nurturing and closed-loop methodologies that result in license revenue pipeline.

Manage financial funds and proper budgeting and allocation of marketing funds.

Provide assessment and reporting with metrics that reflect ROI on each activity.

Work with existing alliance strategy/business development teams along with sales and marketing teams to comprehend the scope of relationship, sales activity and existing marketing programs.

Execute and manage marketing initiatives and programs—existing programs and programs currently in progress.

Undertake go-to-market plans and launch programs related to future products or products currently under development.

Define programs with SAP Intel, in independent and stand-alone initiatives.

Jointly conceptualize and/or create new programs with marketing, sales and business development teams: target, plan and execute vertical or segment specific marketing programs that result in leads that drive incremental sales.

Experience / Education Requirements:

Program Management: Demonstrated experience and capabilities in leading and managing programs, start-to-finish.

Marketing Programs: Accomplished in developing and authoring copy for content, messaging and delivery vehicles: web, print and email.

Sales Programs: Thorough comprehension of sales process and/or previous sales experience. Must be conversant in sales vernacular and have capabilities to develop marketing programs with salesmaker delivery in mind. Candidate will provide examples of successful previously developed and executed sales programs and plays. (interviewee must bring portfolio of past programs, promotions, plays and sales tools).

Product Marketing: Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and effectively communicate concepts based on new and complex partner ecosystem technologies, products and services.

Tenure: 10+ Years marketing experience in a high technology company. Previous experience in product or brand marketing experience with EMC and VCE or other tier-one alliance is a plus.

Enterprise Products: Data center software and hardware experience and full comprehension of sales motion related to enterprise software and hardware.

Education: Business or Technical Undergraduate Degree required; MBA is a plus

Work Style: Self-starter, leads and facilitates management of details needed to accomplish tasks; simultaneous management of several programs and initiatives

Creativity: marketing creative and marketing communications savvy capabilities are a must. Candidate will demonstrate previous experience with developing full demand/lead generation and awareness marketing campaigns—from theme and collateral development through execution and back-end assessment.
