Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a skilled marketing or event professional to manage the Executive Briefing Center for our client based in Santa Cruz, CA. The EBC Coordinator will be the master scheduler for the EBC, effectively managing all meeting requests and assign the appropriate resources. The Coordinator will build content for briefings and interact professionally and effectively with executive management, Sales, lines of business leaders, Facilities, Catering and other stakeholders to ensure the success of customer, prospect and partner briefings. The Briefing Coordinator must quickly learn how to extrapolate key components from the customer and account teams objectives in order to build an effective briefing day. This involves building agendas and securing presenters, conducting conference calls with the account teams, conducting pre and post briefings meetings with the account team and presenters, opening and closing each briefing day.

The ideal consultant is highly organized, detail oriented and possesses strong multi-tasking capabilities. Must be able to resolve issues proactively and in real-time, maintaining composure and polish.

Responsibilities:



Support Sales by consulting on and developing customized briefing agendas in coordination with subject matter experts within the company. Tailor agendas based on the interests and needs of each visitor beginning with a corporate overview.

Ensure that the EBC provides excellent customer service, providing customers the ability to relax and focus on their objectives, and to ensure customer had an effective and positive experience with our client

Work with subject matter experts to develop pre-recorded content modules for those topics to substitute for executive speaking presence, and maintain a catalogue of content for presentations

Establish a bench of speakers on each topic

Focus demos to ensure the most relevant engagement. Work with internal teams to update content management system and demo units in the EBC as needed. Customize video screens and build relevant corporate story for key visits.

Create a personalized experience for each visitor with welcome messages and company logos displayed during each visit

Provide each visitor with corporate branded gifts and/or products

Develop templates for briefing materials

Skills:



3-5 years' experience working in a customer-facing capacity such as a customer briefing center or events

Experience working in the Marketing or Sales organization for a midsize to large company preferred

Prior experience working for a technology company preferred

Excellent calendaring capabilities

Must be comfortable working with executives, press, analysts, industry thought leaders, etc. The role also requires one to be effective at building cross-functional alliances.

Strong multi-tasking capabilities, able to set priorities and manage a myriad of details

Strong communications (verbal and written) and listening skills

Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar preferred



RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group, benefits available

LOCATION: Onsite at client's office in Santa Cruz, CA, some flexibility to WFH/virtual/remote/ /telecommute except during event periods. Local, S.F. Bay area applicants only, please. No phone calls please.

HOURS/DURATION: Full-time, ASAP – 3 months
