TITLE: Human Resources Administrator
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree
JOB DESCRIPTION: To enhance company operations by providing human resources support and implementing administrative systems and procedures
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
· Administrative support
-Produces various confidential documentation, letters, and correspondence. -Assists with special projects as needed.
-Maintains and improves efficiency of office operations.
-Handles purchasing needs.
· Human Resources
-Conduct new hire orientations at headquarters to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefits plans allowing them to make informed benefits decisions.
-Serve as Cobra Administrator for company
-Administer health and welfare plans to include enrollments and terminations.
-Reviews monthly billings from insurance providers and resolves any discrepancies with carriers, payroll and employee.
-Act as liaison between employee, insurance providers to resolve benefit related issues and ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations.
-Performs recruitment activities such as background checks, reference checks and scheduling interviews.
-Performs outreach to community sources as needed.
-Provides human resource functions as needed (e.g. file maintenance, confidential correspondence generation and record keeping)
-Ensures company is aligned with federal and state regulations
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience working with remote employees/operations
Demonstrated ability to problem solve
Ability to work within team environment
High-energy, able to multi-task, superior interpersonal abilities, sound judgment, good reasoning skills, resourceful and well-organized
Participative style, ability to establish credibility and be decisive
Results and people oriented, willing to work in changing environment
Flexible personality, professional, excellent communicator, detail oriented
Ability to anticipate, plan ahead and carry out tasks with minimal direction
EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years experience supporting Human Resource functions
Technology based background preferred
Internet/Social Media Savvy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Proficiency with Google Docs
