[KITlist] Content Marketing Specialist (Silicon Valley, CA)

Crimson Marketing is currently seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to support our clients' digital marketing requirements. This person will drive content strategy for their segments, act as a liaison between marketing stakeholders and web production and drive compelling content that meets KPI's for traffic and conversions.

In this role, you will:

• Build and evolve roadmap of engaging content for key audiences at all levels of the marketing funnel and purchase cycle

• Define and implement metrics and feedback strategy using online analytics tools

• Deliver metrics analysis to broad cross-functional team monthly to discuss insights, upcoming improvements and testing plans

• Understand and articulate the value of the information obtained from metrics and A/B testing to inform content strategy

• Distill complex ideas into simple concepts that can be communicated to many different personas and stakeholders

• Optimize existing content, and newly created content, for search according to SEO best practices

• Monitor trends in web and social media tools and incorporate as appropriate to increase site satisfaction and user interaction



Must Have:

• 3+ years in web content marketing

• Strong editing and proofreading skills, especially editing content for the web

• Passion and expertise in online marketing best practices, industry trends, SEO and user experience

• Knowledge of CMS platforms, project management tools, and analytics tools

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and project management skills; must be able to create and deliver presentations to a large cross functional audience



Strongly Prefer:

• Ability to convert highly technical information to easily digestible content

• History of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, agencies, and vendors

• Experience working with website personas and developing strategies and processes to serve specific audiences

• Thorough understanding of information architecture, site usability, content strategy and aligning technical restraints to best practice deliverables

• Proven success in driving successful demand generation content strategies



Duration: Full-time, on-site, with some off-site flexibility

Location: South Bay, CA
