Simplee, is a well-funded, fast-growing cloud healthcare application startup in Silicon Valley. The company has closed major enterprise accounts, and the Account Exec will take over ongoing client relationships, upsell and grow the revenue from assigned accounts, and ensure that these customers are great references for continued new business.
This is a critical role, with high visibility in the company and significant responsibility for national client accounts. You'll interact on-site with clients, and make presentations to executives. When not on the road, you'll be in the Palo Alto headquarters working directly with the SVP Sales, CEO, marketing and product development teams. Some customers are local to the Bay Area; others require travel within the US.
Compensation is base salary and bonus, plus a great stock option package in this well-funded, successful company. This is a company that is truly going places!
Here are the key attributes we are looking for:
•5+ years of major account management and software sales where you "land and expand" within a large corporate environment.
•Strong financial acumen and experience selling with data and reports is important.
•Ability to converse with, and present to C-level execs on your own and in team presentations.
•Good head for numbers and analytics – used to selling with data and showing financial impact of the software solution.
•Tech savvy, able to communicate technology to various levels of people.
•High agility, "killer instinct" to find new opportunities for upselling additional software products into the account.
•Worked in a startup before; high energy, honest and hard working.
•Experience in financial applications or mobile payments is a plus but not necessary.
•Great collaborator across functions (product development, marketing, sales, finance).
•Professional presentation and appearance appropriate for corporate environment.
