Description:

We're searching for the product marketing leader who will drive the strategy, needs and communication of our partner ecosystem.

Reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing, the Director of Ecosystem Product Marketing will identify partners consistent with product strategy and market trends and drive the outbound content for communicating the value of Sugar's ecosystem. This role requires a veteran product marketer with a deep understanding of how to build and communicate the value of a partner ecosystem. You will be responsible for using market analysis, competitive understanding and marketing research to identify the partners that will bring the most value and driving the content that positions the partners' value in the ecosystem. You must have high energy, excellent presentation skills and be able to multi-task and communicate verbally and in writing exceedingly well. Global travel is required.

Responsibilities:

•Work with Alliances and Products teams to develop the framework and identifying the target partners to fill out the ecosystem using market and competitive analysis.

•Drive the content for global cross-functional marketing programs with ISV partners

•Drive new customers to SugarCRM's marketplace and ensure their return.

•Define the customer's journey in finding the appropriate partner or solution. Define the best customer experience from how people first hear of SugarCRM's ecosystem to when they find the application or partner of interest.

•Translate strategy into high-level requirements for the SugarCRM marketplace to effectively market our ecosystem. Work with the product and web teams to implement these features.

•Define the process for matching customers' needs to the best partner solution and provide recommendations in the SugarCRM marketplace and work with internal teams to implement that process.

•Facilitate communication throughout the development process between a variety of internal teams as well as customer facing teams, ensuring that SugarCRM's marketplace satisfies customers' and partners needs.

•Interact with customers to get product feedback on and identify additional market opportunities for ecosystem partners

Desired Skills and Experience:

•Deep understanding of CRM and SaaS space

•Strong presentation and analytical skills

•Strong leader, self-starter and proven team player in a high achievement-oriented environment

•Experience in Product Management or Strategy

•Proven track record in leading and working effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, alliances, sales, operations, and finance.

•Strong writing skills are imperative.

•Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, presentation, and project management skills required.

•Innovator with the ability to influence staff and management at all levels (internally and externally).
