People Development Manager position for Auto Nation - Location -Fort Lauderdale Florida
The People Development Manager will enable AutoNation to deliver on it’s vision “to be America’s best place to buy and service cars and trucks” by building and managing processes that enable the organization to most effectively manage and leverage the talent of our 24,000+ Associates.
Specifically, this individual will be responsible for driving performance and talent management initiatives across the organization including all aspects of the design, development and implementation of projects related to:
Goal/Performance Management, Leadership Development/Associate Career Pathing and Talent Assessment/Reviews.
Must possess
Organizational Relationships:
Reports within the Human Resources function at the Corporate Office. Partners closely with field HR team and our Operational Corporate/Region Leadership to analyze organizational needs, influence action and develop talent management programs that meet the strategic needs of the Company.
Job Responsibilities:
• Designs and manages the design and implementation of annual Talent Management processes such as our Performance and Talent Review processes.
• Creates supporting programs that enable the organization to attract, develop and retail top talent such as onboarding, rotational and high potential development programs.
• Partners with HR Ops & other People Development team members to build individual development plans as needed.
• Enables the feedback and development of high potential talent through the use of tools such as 360’s; Hogan Assessments etc
• Track and measure the results of our Talent Management initiatives. Analyze results and build plans for continuous improvement.
• Support other People Development programs, as needed.
Qualifications:
• HR experience in Fortune 500 Corporate setting; retail or sales experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR Management and/or Organizational Development
• Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a OD role
• Experience in developing talent management processes and programs
• Experience delivering 360 Feedback and Assessment results including development coaching
• Ability to communicate, impact and influence all organizational levels
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with ability to drive results
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment
• Ability to integrate the HR discipline with other business disciplines
• Strong PC skills, preferably in Microsoft Office, are essential
