HR Compensation Analyst w/CCP Certification position -Northwest Atlanta/Kennesaw, GA

 

The basic responsibilities of the Compensation Analyst II assists in the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.

Administers all monthly and quarterly incentive and commission plans.  

This includes performance calculations, payment calculations, reporting, and submitting payments to payroll.  

Primary point of contact for managers for all incentive questions and concerns.

Evaluate new or revised job descriptions to determine appropriate salary grade and/ or compensation range using formalized job evaluation process.

Make recommendations to management.                 

Evaluate and analyze internal salary and external market data to make recommendations to managers on pay decisions, policy and guidelines interpretation.      

Evaluate job positions for correct FLSA classifications and work with management to ensure compliance.

Research FLSA issues and questions as necessary

Coordinate annual salary survey submissions

Experience with an automobile parts warehouse/distribution/manufacturing plant environment preferred

Minimum 3 years of progressive compensation experience with an emphasis in the analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs.

         

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)

·        General compensation knowledge required including compliance with the state and federal laws that apply to the plans.         

·        Strong problem solving, communication and presentation skills.           

·        Well organized and confident to work independently but will be a strong team player.        

·        Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.         

·        Mathematical aptitude, analysis skills and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.         

·        Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with top management.         

·        Strong MS Office skills including Word and Excel required. 

·        PowerPoint experience preferred.        

·        HRIS experience required.         

·        Regular travel is not expected in this position; however, travel around scheduled program rollouts will be necessary.
