Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an Integrated Marketing Communications Manager with solid, recent experience in creating marketing, promotional, and sponsorship and event experience strategies for large scale conference and various size event programs (program budgets exceeding $1M). This role will partner with our client to define overall program objectives, revenue budget models, pricing and promotional strategies, sponsorship programs and opportunities, audience acquisition and communication strategies and programs. The manager will also implement and deliver against the strategies and tactics. The ideal candidate is a strong marketing communications professional, both strategic and tactical with events being a strong part of their overall background, accustomed to working in a fast paced, results-oriented, customer-centric environment. Must be resourceful, enthusiastic, high energy and creative with a demonstrated ability to drive measurable results.
Specific responsibilities:
Design and develop targeted integrated marketing programs in support of key strategic event marketing initiatives for marketing campaigns and global events
Work with key stakeholders and other marketing functions to create specific communication messages, tools, and strategies to further the objectives of the company's core marketing initiatives
Ensure clear business objectives are created and delivered on for campaigns and events
Define and standardize a consistent process, framework and training for marketing communications across all marketing functions
Work with Executives to ensure key marketing campaign and event messaging are integrated into their speaking platform
Define key program stakeholders, create functional teams, manage expectations to timeline and budgets
Collaborate with internal client stakeholders to create alignment with corporate and brand objectives for all event marketing communications and marketing campaigns
Work cross functionally to build relationships with individuals at all levels in the organization
Develop marketing communication success metrics and provide tracking mechanisms, analysis and course corrections throughout all campaigns and event programs
Coordinate and manage online, social media, email campaigns, mailers, surveys and post show and campaign follow up communications
Assist in the development of all multi-media, PowerPoint, video for campaigns and events
Assist with the creation of social media activity for events and marketing campaigns
Write and maintain content for company websites, social media sites and blogs
Coordinate the creation and production of appropriate targeted promotional materials
Work with designers, speakers and third party vendors to accurately communicate and deliver event and campaign messaging
Develop and execute a marketing communications plan for campaigns and events
Ensure program deliverables are executed across multiple communication channels
Be the conduit to other marketing functions to pull together all campaign activities and ensure a cohesive event communications strategy across the portfolio of events
Act as the event marketing advisor to corporate marketing leadership
Partner with all marketing functions; PR, AR, Branding, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Field Marketing to ensure message alignment across all campaigns and events
Skills:
12-15 years' experience managing integrated marketing/communications programs, including setting event marketing program strategies. Must include recent experience working for at least one technology company. Agency experience a strong plus
Strong communications skills: verbal/public speaking, written, presentations
Strategic, creative and business minded while ensuring strong delivery/execution results
Experience in market research and/or marketing analytics
Strong project management capabilities. Must have the ability to juggle multiple, concurrent demanding initiatives and projects
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar
Rate: D.O.E. as a W2 employee of Crawford Group, benefits available.
Location: Fully onsite clients' office in San Mateo, CA. No phone calls, please.
Hours/Duration: Full time consulting, ASAP – August 31, 2015.
