Position Overview: Channel Impact is seeking an Event Marketing Manager to provide on-going services for our client's global channel marketing event team. The ideal candidate will have event marketing experience with excellent project management skills.
This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide direct support to the client's event marketing leadership to execute events such as: Partner councils, marketing academies, conferences and tradeshows
Responsible for managing activities such registration, venues, food and beverage, AV, welcome kits, content production, evaluations and more
Manage and collaborate with various suppliers that the client's has engaged to support the event
Develop, manage and maintain the project execution plan for each event. Provide ad-hoc reporting to client leadership so the client is aware of the project's status at any point in time
Manage the budget for each event
Have a positive, "can-do" attitude in a fast paced environment. Willingness to travel as needed.
Skill Sets:
5+ years of event marketing experience
Project management certification is a strong plus
Specific industry experience with a good understanding of networking
Works with only minimal management participation.
Strong written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills.
Excellent follow-through and ability to track and communicate ROI
Flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing or similar
