We are looking for a Marketing Content Manager for an emerging high tech company based in Redwood City, CA. The Marketing Content Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the content marketing strategy by working with internal SMEs, other marketing content creators and external vendors. Approximately half the role is hands on content creation of customer success stories, presentations, product collateral, videos, white papers, ebooks and other content.
This is a 40 hours per week; 6 month onsite role at the client's offices in Redwood City, CA (can work 1 or 2 days per week remotely). This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits provided.
Responsibilities:
• Work across multiple target audiences and continuously extract the trends, topics and content themes that will help engage decision makers and influencers.
• Build and execute content strategy to engage and convert key customer segments
• Manage an editorial calendar based on strategic goals, key markets, business priorities and events
• Conceptualize storylines, develop creative briefs, produce and deliver assets, social media/blog posts, webinars, white papers, etc. and direct content asset distribution.
• Ensure content provides clear business and technical benefits to the target audiences, conveys the brand voice and personality and meets high quality standards
• Be the go-to content expert, understand the hot issues and new developments in social media content marketing
Requirements:
• 7+ years relevant content development and marketing experience in high tech B2B
• Solid track record in developing and executing content strategies across multiple channels within enterprise technology
• Master project manager with proven skills in overseeing content projects and multiple
• Experience with Marketo, preferred
• Experience in Telecom industry, preferred
• Experience with content marketing platforms like Kapost, preferred
• BS/BA degree
