POSITION – SENIOR DATA ANALYST

LOCATION – SAN JOSE, CA

DURATION – 6 MONTHS +

Job Responsibilities

• Supports the Sales business by generating, analyzing, tracking and presenting customer data.

• Document current state of customer.

• Document desired state based on Sales Plays by overlaying the data to determine the which sales play is recommended

• Promote and support Sales adoption

• Partnership with multiple data teams to prepare data for customer assessment events on a regular basis.

• Producing the actual quotes and running the bookings process via Service Operations.

• Proactively and regularly run opportunity reports related to customer's install base as required (uncovered equipment, contract summary, shipment history, technology refresh) utilizing tools such as 360/TV, Business Objects, Daily Bookings File, Shipping reports etc.

• Compiles information and creates necessary reports in support of Service Sales and Service Delivery requirements, including presenting reports at Quarterly Business Reviews

• Tracks and monitors status of key metrics, this could include process metrics.

• Document and communicate learnings and best practice to other teams

• Collaborates with Service Sales to develop plans to meet agreed upon timelines and deliverables.

• Coordinates with Customer cross-functional teams



Required Competencies

• Technical Skills:

• Strong analytical skills

• Advanced Excel, including proficiency in Pivot Tables and Vlookup

• Aptitude in systems and reporting for analysis

• Strong tool and process knowledge



Business Acumen

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to leverage business knowledge and data analysis to deliver recommendations on alternative options for action

• Ability to lead and manage multiple projects requiring collaboration among cross functional resources often across wide geographic area

• Ability to anticipate, prioritize, and delegate work activities and leverage indirect resources to meet objectives

• Ability to set account-specific operational goals, influence the customer and account team priorities around Install Base quality and drive to results

• Strong ability to collaborate and bridge various support groups to ensure all tasks are completed

• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent leadership, collaboration and communication skills



Education/Experience

Services knowledge highly desired; BA/BS degree with 5 years of related experience preferred
