Our client is a smaller, niche security software company that is gaining more and more exposure and attention because of their solutions that address high priority security issues within large enterprise companies. This company is a leader in their space and has gained traction in numerous large enterprise clients with enormous potential for their offerings going forward. As a result of their expansion we are seeking a proven inside sales professional with experience identifying and selling software for this exciting opportunity:

Position title: Inside Sales Representative
Location: Cupertino, California

Position description:

Our client is expanding and seeking an inside sales professional with software sales experience sales that will be responsible for calling on customers in the SMB space. We are looking for an exceptionally driven Inside Software Salesperson to generate new sales leads and sell our software solutions. This person must have the ability to multitask between lead generation, implementing procedures to help the field sales team and closing smaller opportunities and follow-on sales. The emphasis will be on generating new business/revenue.

Position responsibilities:

•Multitask between lead generation, selling and administration without losing sight of the goal for
each.
•Handle inbound and outbound communications with customers in an effort to reduce the sales
cycle and drive revenue.
•Cold call into potential customer accounts (hunter) with the goal of mapping and qualifying
prospects
•Employ product knowledge and active listening skills to gather information necessary to identify
needs and opportunities
•Qualify leads and sell independently or with outside sales reps to ensure opportunities are
created and closed.
•Manage the distribution and follow-up process of high quality leads
•Develop and run web-based presentations and demonstrations for prospects.
•Set expectations internally and externally while closing business on plan.
•Track and measure daily sales goals
•Build and maintain accurate account information in our CRM system.
•Actively communicate with Potential Customers, Current Customers, Partners and the Field
Sales team
•Participate in tradeshows and conferences occasionally.


Required skills and experience:

•3- 5 years in software sales to business and/or IT users. Experience selling any security
related software a big plus but not a must.
•Ability to work in a changing environment while managing your time, leads, and producing
results
•Proven track record in over-achieving quarterly and annual quotas
•Must have high ethical standards, integrity and a desire to be part of a world-class sales
organization
•Ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of IT security, data protection, authentication, as
well as the ability to discuss them with intelligence and conviction
•Formal sales training desired: Solution-Selling and/or Value Selling training preferred
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
•Experience with CRM required; Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience preferred
•Possess a drive to win and succeed as a team player
•Experience generating revenue as an inside sales person for a non-brand name company.
