[KITlist] Program Manager - Level 1 (Livermore, CA)

Program Manager - 3 plus years of experience. Salary level 70 - 85K

The OEM Program Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation process of Topcon's positioning and productivity products working directly with our OEM customers. S/he will work directly with these heavy equipment manufacturers to integrate Topcon's products into construction machinery applications and civil engineering processes and will monitor the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are required to be performed by the employee, but are not limited to these as other duties may be assigned.

* Execute development programs per defined Commercial Agreements
* Negotiate project schedules with OEM program managers
* Represent Topcon for various OEM communication requirements
* Monitor and report development progress and issues
* Structure system bills of materials
* Provide direction to development engineering staff
* Follow company ISO Product Realization processes
* Ensure developed products meet OEM requirements

Job Requirements:

* Strong verbal and written communication skills required
* Able to successfully orchestrate multiple engineering locations and disciplines
* Able to create and present development plans to customers and team members
* Able to organize multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines
* Able to work in a cross-functional organizational structure
* Strong desire to learn and contribute in a team environment
* Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
* Min 3 years project management experience
* Experience with GPS receivers, sonic sensors, laser receivers, position sensors, hydraulic circuits, closed-loop controls, survey techniques, civil engineering, and heavy equipment operation helpful.

Education:

* BS in related field desired. Combination of related education, job experience, or military experience will be considered.
