You are a dynamic Inside Sales Representative who wants to be part of a high performance sales team and work in work in partnership with one Regional Sales Consultant to grow and exceed revenue targets.
You will be responsible for:
1. Developing relationships with specified customer segment to sustain and increase revenue levels through up-selling new products and services and order add-ons in order to meet or exceed revenue targets. Developing outbound calling list. Conducting a minimum of 10 outbound dials per day. Maintaining daily documentation of customer interactions in Salesforce.com CRM software. Maintaining daily documentation of customer interactions in Salesforce.com CRM software. Daily use of Salesforce.com tasks, leads module and opportunity pipeline is required. Proactively customizing communications and activities to support customers' relationship and expand the customers' needs sets. Recommending solutions based on customers' needs. Meeting customers' needs as communicated, both pre- and post-sales: order placement, billing issues, product and service information, service recovery, etc. Establishing and maintaining appropriate contact levels for each customer. Monitoring effectiveness and cost efficiency of communication.
2. Reviewing data on specific customers to determine customer behavior regarding historical dollar sales, product purchase and buying patterns. Analyzing information and strategically planning communication. Analyzing outside influences on behavior and incorporating into strategy. Creating and deploying marketing collateral with marketing collaboration or independently with approval from Sales Management Team. Attending Sales Regional meetings, bi weekly check in broader team meetings and other departmental meetings as required.
3. Updating customer data in ERP and SFA systems with contact information and activity to ensure data and reports are accurate. Linking communications and transactional data to ensure all enterprise-wide transactions are known to identified internal stakeholders.
4. Working with Divisional Director, US Sales to ensure successful account coverage as required, ensuring smooth and seamless support for the customer.
And you have:
• 1 - 2 years of internal sales experience is required. Commission-based work experience is a plus.
• Lawson or similar ERP experience is required
• Experience in Word and Excel report creation and analysis is required
• Experience with CRM software is required; Salesforce.com is desirable
• Basic math competency; strong analytical skills; excellent communication skills are required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
